Walkable Bandon Historical Tours

 

There are now walking maps available for photo enhanced walks through Bandon. You can take a virtual tour on your computer or, if you have a smart phone, you can carry your phone with you and view the photos along the way.

 

There are two tours available now:

 

A short tour (about two miles), mainly through Old Town. Starting at the Museum, it will take you to Face Rock Creamery, down along the Waterfront, up to Coast Guard Hill, then back to Second Street in Old Town. You'll follow Second Street back to the Museum.

 

A longer tour (about 4.8 miles, if you follow all of the paths). This will start at the Museum, and then take you up by the schools, through the city park, out to Coquille Point, back along Beach Loop (and feeder roads), and finally back to Old Town, where you will wind your way through points of interest, before ending at the Face Rock Creamery (where you deserve to treat yourself after a long walk).
