Beach Trail (Bullards Beach State Park)

Access: 

From Coos Bay, drive south on US 101 for about 23 miles to Bullards Beach State Park.  Turn right (west) at park entrance.  Continue on main road out to Bullards Beach Horse Camping area sign and turn right (north) into camping area where trailhead is located. 

Setting and Attractions: 

Great trail for beachcombers.  This is a short jaunt to the beach with great views of the Oregon coastline to the north and south, including the quaint town of Bandon.  Bullards Beach State Park has a wide diversity of camping opportunities for horses, hikers/bikers, RVs, and also provides yurts.

Trail Description: 

The trail starts through coastal brush and continues for a short distance to the beach.  Upon reaching the beach it’s possible to walk for several miles north along the coast.  This is a popular trail for equestrians.
